"FAMILY TREE" for Enschede

The members of the American band "Venice" want to donate a "Family Tree" to Enschede to remember the victims of the fireworks-disaster.  The brothers / cousins Lennon will ask the mayor of this city if they can plant a tree in the disaster area on May 13th, exactly one year after the tragedy that took 22 lives.

After "The Family Tree" was played at the funeral of one of the fireman that lost his life during this tragedy, and at the memorial concert, the idea was born to give Enschede its own "Family Tree."  Kipp Lennon announced this during a concert Venice given last week in Enschede. When they played this song, one could almost feel the emotions in the audience.

"Family Tree" is about family members losing their lives, and the people who are left behind deal with it. The disaster made this song more special, also for the Americans, than it already was.  "The fact that this song helps people to gain new strength after the tragedy is the best gift you can receive as a band," Kipp Lennon said.
